A key ingredient in oriental fragrances, orange blossom is also used to accentuate certain fruity notes in floral compositions. It brings its very singular quality to the top notes of Fahrenheit 32.
HEART NOTE
MADAGASCAN VANILLA
The white flowers of the vanilla plant produce a fruit that reaches maturity after eight to nine months. The pods are harvested before they are fully ripe, then undergo a process of maturation of 34 months. Their scents develop and vanilla crystals, producing a sweet, spicy scent, are formed. Serene and sensual, it unfurls in the heart notes of Fahrenheit 32.
BASE NOTE
HAITIAN VETIVER
Native to India and Indonesia, but also found in Haiti and Reunion, vetiver is a perennial plant whose fragrant substances are contained in its roots. The essential oil is obtained through steam distillation. The lingering scent of vetiver is used in woody, chypre and oriental compositions. Vetiver offers its refined boldness as the base note of Dior Homme.
